The southwest monsoon will get aggressive in Himachal Pradesh with the weather bureau on Monday predicating heavy rainfall at some places in the state this week.
"There are chances of moderate to heavy rainfall in the state till July 2," the meteorological office here said in a statement.
It said Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kangra, Kullu and Mandi districts might experience heavy rain at some places during this period.
The monsoon arrived in the state on June 21 - almost a week in advance.
Meanwhile, Gohar in Mandi district recorded the highest rainfall in the state at 125 mm on Monday, while it was 69 mm in Nahan and 24 mm in Dharamsala.
State capital Shimla, which saw a high of 27.4 degrees Celsius, saw mild rain.
Himachal Pradesh's agriculture and horticulture-based economy is highly dependent on the monsoon.
