Hitachi Vantara will unify the operations of Hitachi Data Systems, Hitachi Insight Group, and Pentaho into a single integrated business.
"The launch of Hitachi Vantara is an important step to being the complete data solutions provider, enabling customers to digitally transform their business," said Vivekanand Venugopal, Vice President and General Manager-India, Hitachi Vantara, in a statement.
Meanwhile, Lumada -- Hitachi's IoT platform -- is now available as a standalone and commercial software offering.
