HRD seeks report on sexual harassment (Lead, Superseding earlier copy)
The human resource ministry (HRD) has sought a report from the principal of St. Stephen's college here about the alleged sexual harassment of a research student by a professor.
College principal Valson Thampu told IANS that he would send the report to the ministry soon. "The notice came in yesterday (Tuesday) evening. I will send it to the ministry," Thampu said.
A Delhi University research scholar has alleged that a professor at St. Stephen's college sexually harassed her for one year.
