Singer Sam Smith, who came out as gay last year, says he is still looking for the man of his dreams after being spotted with a mysterious person.

The "Stay with me" hitmaker shared his relationship update while speaking during his set at Portugal's NOS Alive festival on Saturday, reports mirror.co.uk.

"Things have gone completely out of control over the past two years and it's so vital for me to remind myself how I wrote these songs every day. My last song is a love letter to my future boyfriend - he's still out there, whoever he might be," Smith said.

Smith, who split from male model Jonathan Zeizel in January, was pictured getting close to a new guy at Kylie Minogue's gig in London's Hyde Park last month but has rubbished rumours they are dating.
