Spanish side Real Madrid's Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas has admitted having a "tough" first year with the team but dismissed rumours he'd leave the club despite its interest in signing English outfit Manchester United's custodian David de Gea.
Since the start of the season, Navas has played only 11 official games with Real Madrid, six in La Liga, three in Copa Del Rey and two in the Champions League, conceding eight goals including some costly errors, reports Efe.
"Just because I don't complain to the press doesn't mean that I'm not having a tough time. I wanted to get the chance to play more," Navas said on Monday.
"Next year I hope to continue with the same desire, and strength, my dream is to be a regular first team player at Real Madrid," he added.
Regarding talk about signing De Gea, Navas said that these are just rumours to which he doesn't pay much attention.
He also said there are two world class goalkeepers in Real Madrid presently and hoped to play more games next year.
