A post doctoral female research scholar of Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IITM) allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday.
According to police, the victim Maheshwari, a post doctoral research scholar, was found dead in her hostel room under mysterious circumstances.
The police are investigating the case.
According to IITM, it is extending full cooperation to the authorities in investigation.
