Indian actress to feature in African rappers' videos

Indian actress Rekha Rana, who starred in the film "Tara: The Journey of Love and Passion", will now feature in South African rapper AKA's music video for the song "Bounce".

She also shot for Cameroon-based rapper Stanley Enow's music video "Pray for me".

Rekha represented the hues of India in Enow's video in an ensemble designed by Rahul and Anushka. The video will air on MTV in Africa next month.

"Working with AKA and Stanley Enow was a good experience not only because they are stars in South Africa and Cameroon but because they are great people and we loved the collaboration. The most important thing is to explore my talent in a different continent," Rekha told IANS about her experience shooting for the film.

She said the video for "Bounce" happened when she visited Cameroon for the Cameroon International Film Festival.

"I have a few more work proposals in Africa and I am excited for them," she added.

Rekha is currently in Mumbai and shooting for her upcoming film "Yahan Ameena Bikti Hai" with Kumar Raj Productions.
