Indian women spikers stormed into the quarter-finals with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over the Maldives at the 17th Asian Games here Friday.

India won 25-12, 25-7, 25-11 in 54 minutes at the Ansan Sangroksu Gymnasium here.

They raced away to a comfortable lead from the beginning of the match. Tiji Raju top scored for India with 16 points.

India take on China in the last eight clash Saturday.
