Inter Milan signed Dutchman Frank De Boer as the head coach with a three-year contract, the Italian football club announced on its website on Tuesday.
Inter Milan said De Boer will take charge of the first team training this afternoon, reports Xinhua.
Between 1990 and 2004, De Boer played 112 matches and scored 13 goals for Holland.
At club level for Ajax, he lifted five Eredivisie titles, the Champions League trophy, the European Cup, the European Supercup, and the Intercontinental Cup.
He also played for top European clubs FC Barcelona, Galatasaray S.K. and Rangers F.C.
As the head coach of Ajax, De Boer won four consecutive Eredivisie league titles between 2011 and 2014.
