Indian Super League (ISL) franchise FC Pune City defeated FC Goa 2-1 in the eighth match of the cash-rich football league at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here on Saturday.
Japanese player Arata Izumi opened the scoring for Pune. He scored in the 25th minute to give the visitors the vital lead.
FC Goa's David Luiz then scored an equaliser for the hosts, scoring in the 33th minute of the game.
Just when the game was heading for a tame draw, Pune's Dame N'Doye scored in the dying minutes of the game to give his team their first victory of the season.
