It's a slick, stylish: Shaleen Bhanot on debut song

TV actor Shaleen Bhanot says his debut song "Kamasutra" is a slick and stylish track with contagious lyrics.

Composed by Taz of Stereo Nation, it is Shaleen's international single.

Talking about the song, the actor said: "It is a slick, stylish song with contagious lyrics. I love to perform and entertain audiences, but I wanted to perform on my own songs. So, I was looking for the right number. And this song was just perfect. Taz from Stereo Nation went with my gut feel and the results were amazing."

"As we recorded the song and then conceptualised and shot the video, this feeling only kept getting stronger."

When Zee Music came on board and platformed the song, "people kept joining the caravan of believers".

"I knew then that I was on the right path. After 'Kamasutra', I am now lining up my next set of songs. It is fun," added the "Saat Phere" actor.

Asked if he wants to stick to singing or continue his acting career, he said: "Television is the medium that made the nation love me. I am who I am because of this love. I will never give up the medium that gave me so much. I am surely looking forward to good shows."

Besides his single, Shaleen has wrapped up two films -- "Love Ke Funday" and "Chal Jhoothe".
