Congress legislator Chandra Shekhar Dubey, who was sacked from the Hemant Soren cabinet a few days ago, joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Kolkata Sunday.
Dubey is the third legislator to join the TMC in the last one week. He may be fielded from the Dhanbad seat.
He wanted to fight from the Dhanbad seat but the Congress list, released Saturday, did not have his name for that seat.
Two legislators -- Bandhu Tirkey of the Jharkhand Janadhikar Manch and Chamra Linha of the Rastriya Kalyan Pakshya -- who were supporting the Soren government joined the TMC Monday in the presence of TMC general secretary Mukul Roy.
Tirkey and Linha will fight the Lok Sabha polls from Ranchi and Lohardaga, respectively.
