Ace Indian shooter Jitu Rai on Sunday clinched the bronze medal in the Men's 10-metre air pistol event at the ongoing shooting World Cup here.
This is Jitu's seventh consecutive medal in world shooting events, a run which started way back in June 2014, according to a National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) release.
On Sunday, Jitu started off very slowly, unable to score 10 or more with his shots with any form of regularity, before coming into his own midway through the finals to clinch bronze.
His South Korean rival and world No.1 Jin Jongoh won gold with a final world record score of 206. Nuang Ye Tun of Malaysia won the silver medal in the event.
