Jordan Tuesday urged Israel to immediately end military operations against the Gaza Strip and called on the international community for its intervention.

Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani voiced Jordan's condemnation of Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip and rejected Israel's justifications for it, XInhua reported.

Israeli military actions against Gaza have caused the death and injury of tens of Palestinians.

The minister called on Israel to end all kinds of escalation, warning that the Israeli attack on Gaza will have negative consequences on the entire region.
