Actress Julianne Moore is to be honoured with the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in California next year.
The 53-year-old will be feted for her role as a woman with early onset of Alzheimer's disease in "Still Alice" Jan 3 2015.
She will join actor Eddie Redmayne, who will receive the honour for Best Actor at the prize giving ceremony, reports contactmusic.com.
The news was announced Thursday by festival chairman Harold Matzner.
Past recipients of the award include Sandra Bullock, Natalie Portman and Halle Berry.
