Indian women's junior hockey team forward Anupa Barla said the side is positive and gearing up for the seventh Junior Asia Cup slated to begin on September 5 in Changzhou, China.
The team is currently preparing at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here. They last participated in the Under-21 Volvo Invitational where they finished third.
"We are looking forward to the next tournament which will give us an opportunity to prove our mettle. We know the tournament will not be easy but the team is positive to fight it tough," said Anupa.
Giving much required support to the side, the forward is excellent when it comes to field positioning and defensive strength.
"We have worked hard on our attacks and penalty corner conversions and aim to stick to our strategies," said Anupa.
