Juventus head coach Antonio Conte says his side prepared in the right way for their 3-0 win over Roma.
Conte was happy to see Arturo Vidal, Leonardo Bonucci and Mirko Vucinic score for the hosts to end Roma's unbeaten run Sunday, reports Xinhua.
"Roma are a dangerous side with great quality and strong investments. Today if Juve had not prepared for the game in the right way, we would've had a real bellyache. Let's just say an Italian coach did well to prepare the tactics," he said.
"When facing strong sides, you have to maintain your characteristics while trying to weaken their strengths. That is the job of a coach otherwise everyone can sit on the bench and pick a line-up," Conte added, warning his players against any complacency which could ruin their campaign.
"I am only ever moderately satisfied until we achieve our targets. So this remains a stepping stone but nothing definitive. Our satisfaction therefore has to remain moderate," he said.
