Singer Katy Perry has been honoured with the woman of the year title at the 2014 Elle Style Awards.
The 29-year-old was presented with the award in London, in recognition of her efforts to empower women across the world and her huge success in the music industry, by singer Kylie Minogue at a ceremony held in London Tuesday night, reports femalefirst.co.uk
"Thor" star Tom Hiddleston was named the magazine's man of the year. Other big winners were singer Lily Allen and rapper Tinie Tempah, who were named the female and male British recording artists of the year.
