Delhi Chief Minster Arvind Kejriwal will attend a 10-day Vipassana course at a meditation centre in Nagpur.
During the course, Kejriwal will have not have access to newspapers or television.
An AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) leader said that Kejriwal would leave Delhi on August 1 and return on August 12.
"The course will start from August 2 and continue till August 11. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will be in-charge of the government affairs in his absence," said that leader.
After the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal had taken a break and attended a Vipassana course, an ancient technique of mediation, in Bengaluru.
