Knife-wielding man shot dead in China
A man was shot dead in China Friday for stabbing two police officers with two knives, police said.
The suspect, surnamed Wei, stabbed and injured two police officers in Ziyang city of southwest China's Sichuan province when he was caught, Xinhua reported citing the Ziyang Public Security Bureau.
Police said they shot him to prevent him from hurting more people.
A previous investigation showed that Wei had a history of mental illness.
