Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) amassed 177/6 in their second home match of the season against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League here on Saturday.
KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir top scored with 58 from 46 balls, while his opening partner Robin Uthappa contributed 35 from 28 deliveries. West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell played a cameo later to remain not out on 41 from 17 balls.
Harshal Patel, Abu Nechim, Varun Aaron and Yuzvendra Chahal picked up a wicket each for RCB at the Eden Gardens.
