South Korea and North Korea ended talks between high-ranking officials after a three-hour meeting, Seoul's unification ministry said Friday.

Delegates from the two countries met Friday morning at the border village of Panmunjom to resume the high-level talks, two days after the first round of dialogue ended without any tangible agreement, reported Xinhua.

The five-member delegations held a plenary session and a chief delegate contact before having a half-hour closing session in the afternoon, said the ministry.

Details about the results of the talks are not yet available. The South Korean chief delegate will hold a press conference to announce the results of the talks.
