'Krrish 3' first look to be unveiled online Thursday

The first look of much-awaited movie "Krrish 3", the third instalment of Bollywood's hit superhero franchise, will be unveiled online with a motion poster. Superstar Hrithik Roshan will give fans a sneak peek into the movie through social-networking platform Facebook Thursday afternoon.

As part of the digital campaign, spearheaded by Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Hrithik will have a Facebook live video chat, and he will show the global audience the motion poster of the movie. The actor is looking forward to the experience.

"I am really excited and I eagerly look forward to the big unveiling of the 'Krrish 3' digital motion poster. Today's technology is simply phenomenal... in an instant we can get immediate reactions and feedback on our films," Hrithik, who plays Krrish in the series, said in a statement.

"I'm a huge believer in the power of social media as it directly involves our fans and supporters, and for a movie such as 'Krrish 3', it takes the experience to the next level," added the actor, who usually connects with his fans through Twitter.

The live video chat will be activated at 3 p.m. Thursday on four Facebook pages: Hrithik Roshan's official fan page , the 'Krrish 3' movie official fan page , the BollywoodHungama.com fan platform and the official Bollywood on Facebook.

This campaign is expected to reach over 50 million people just on the first day of the launch, and the film's director, Rakesh Roshan hopes "to maximise the potential of social media".

"This film is a result of a lot of dedication and creative effort from the entire team. We want to reach out to millions of fans the world over and this is the first ever Bollywood film to launch its first look motion poster on Facebook. We are excited that a large number of people will see the first look simultaneously at the launch," he said.

Also, listeners of Radio City 91.1 FM, will have a special opportunity to ask questions to Hrithik during the live chat, which will be moderated by the FM station's radio jockey Archana.

The star cast of the movie - Hrithik, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi - have shown their support and involvement by tweeting to their fans about the campaign.

"Krrish 3" will take forward the story of the superhero, played by Hrithik, seen in "Koi... Mil Gaya" and "Krrish". It will release Nov 4, a day after Diwali.
