Independent Indian movie "Labour of Love" has been selected for Venice Days - an autonomous section at the 71st Venice International Film Festival (La Biennale di Venezia) to be held from Aug 27 to Sep 6.
The Bengali drama is directed by debutant Aditya Vikram Sengupta and co-produced by Jonaki Bhattacharya (For Films) and Sanjay Shah (Salaam Cinema).
The film is competing for the Venice Days Jury Award, Venice Days Public Award, and Award for the First Feature (Luigi De Laurentiis Award - Lion of the future), said a statement.
"Labour of Love" stars Ritwick Chakraborty and Basabdutta Chatterjee.
