Spanish football club Malaga's defender Marcos Angeleri has rejoined the training sessions with his team after more than a week off due to a fracture of his right arm.

Angeleri was injured during La Liga match against Valencia at the Mestalla and had to undergo surgery, Efe reported on Friday.

Malaga coach Javi Gracia will decide whether the Argentinian defender can feature in Sunday's La Liga tie against Sporting de Gijon.

Malaga are in 16th place of the La Liga standings with nine points.
