A body with its throat slit was found in the national capital on Tuesday, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Chinmoy Biswal said that a call in this regard was received at around 1.06 p.m. According to the caller, the body was lying under the Moolchand Flyover in south Delhi, he said.
The deceased was later identified as Dhani Ram, a rickshaw-puller.
"At the scene of crime, the body of Dhani Ram, aged 25-30 years, was found. It has been learnt that he had a fight with his friends.
"In the scuffle, some one might have slit his neck with a bottle or a blade," he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations are going on.
