English football club Manchester United coach Louis Van Gaal has refused to comment on rumours about signing Spanish defender Sergio Ramos.
The Dutch coach was asked about it during a press conference on Tuesday before his team's game against the San Jose Earthquakes in the International Champions Cup.
Ramos currently plays for Spanish giants Real Madrid. Rumours have been rife in the ongoing transfer season that he wants a move away from the Spanish club.
"I cannot talk about these rumours. I have said in a lot of press conferences that it's a process. Maybe Mr. Ramos is in the process - you never know," Van Gaal said, according to the team's official website.
Van Gaal did, however, confirm that neither Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea nor the Ecuadorian Antonio Valencia would play against San Jose due to injury.
