Manchester United are currently looking to sign Chelsea's Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas in the upcoming football season, according to media reports.
Chelsea's new coach Antonio Conte showed interest in signing midfielders Radja Nainggolan from Italian side Roma, Portuguese Joao Mario from Sporting Lisbon and his countryman Andre Gomes from La Liga side Valencia, reports Efe.
Furthermore, the Red Devils' Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho is waiting to find out whether Fabregas, former star of Barcelona and Arsenal, will "survive" Conte's shakeup, according to U.K. newspaper the Mirror on Wednesday.
Fabregas, who is a favourite of Mourinho, could become "surplus" for Chelsea, since Conte is also targeting Leicester's Frenchman N'Golo Kante, according to the newspaper.
