German international Leroy Sane is about to join Manchester City football club, according to information published on Thursday by German newspaper Bild.
The paper reported that there is already an agreement between the club and the player, and the next step is that City makes an offer to Schalke, Sane's current club, to agree on the transfer, reports Efe.
Bild explained that an offer above 50 million euros ($55.54 million) would now be accepted by Schalke, because there is a clause which allows Sane to leave the club for 37 million euros ($41.1) starting next year.
In January, City was willing to pay 55 million euros ($61.09 million) for Sane but Schalke rejected the offer.
