After playing Raavan in "Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev", actor Manish Wadhwa will be seen essaying the role of Vishwamitra in "Siya Ke Ram". He says he is glad to play a "variety of roles".
"I played 'Raavan in 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' and now Vishwamitra in 'Siya Ke Ram'. I am glad I am getting to play a variety of roles," Manish said in a statement.
The actor also said he portrays an "important" character in the Star Plus show, as Vishwamitra is Ram's guru, who trains him to become a strong prince known for his calmness and valour.
"Vishwamitra is Ram's guru who trains Ram to be the way he turns out to be eventually. Vishwamitra is the one who wants Ram and Sita to be married and he is the one who leads Ram to Sita's 'swayamwar' when it takes place. It's an extremely important character and I'm glad I am the chosen one to play the role," Manish added.
