Australia's hard-hitting batsman Glenn Maxwell and South Africa's middle-order batsman David Miller made a mockery of the bowlers during Kings XI Punjab's practice session at the Wankhede Stadium here on Saturday.

2014 Indian Premier League (IPL) runners-up Kings XI Punjab face 2013 champions Mumbai Indians here on Sunday.

Maxwell was the first one to pad up after a brief stretching, jogging and dribbling on arrival at the ground.

Right from the word go, he kept smacking the ball into the stands. He was hardly defensive in his attitude.

Team's bowlers Thisara Perera, Parvinder Awana, and Rishi Dhawan provided him with short pitch balls but to the bowlers' surprise, the ball soon disappeared into the night sky.

His superb form in 2014 IPL season and his match winning knocks in the recently concluded World Cup will surely bring headache for the opposition.

As always the opposition bowlers had nightmares, Mumbai Indians will be no difference.

With Mumbai's bowling department lead by Lasith Malinga, he and his teammates will have to be at their best if they are to see the back of the right-handed batsman on Sunday.

South Africa's middle-order batsman Miller also hit almost each and every ball into the stands, middling it perfectly without any hesitation at team's training session.

The Sunil Gavaskar Stand and Sachin Tendulkar Stand of the Wankhede Stadium saw numerous balls flowing towards them.
