Minor sexually assaulted in Delhi, one arrested

A four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her neighbour in the national capital, police said Friday. The accused has been arrested.

The incident was reported from Punjabi Bagh area in West Delhi and the accused Naresh, 21, was arrested Thursday.

"The medical examination of the girl confirmed sexual assault and based on that, Naresh was arrested. He has been sent to judicial custody," said a police officer.

The accused has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
