A senior woman executive working in a multinational company here was arrested on Thursday on charge of fatally running over a 35-year-old man and injuring his daughter, police said.
Sonia Malhotra, 26, driving an Audi car, ran over the pedestrian while he was crossing the road at the Golf Course extension.
While the man succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital, his daughter is under treatment, police said.
A senior police officer told IANS that a case was registered at Badshapur police station and the woman executive was arrested on charge of rash driving.
She was later presented before a local court, which granted her bail.
