Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday called on BJP patriarch L.K. Advani at his residence and spent about half-an-hour with him.
Modi "spent more than 25 minutes" at the house, said a source close to Advani.
"It was like a courtesy call as Modi had missed the condolence meeting to pay tributes to Kamla Advani on April 17," the source said.
Kamla Advani had passed away on April 6. Former prime minister Manmohan Singh and union ministers Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu were there to pay homage to Kamla Advani at a condolence meeting in Delhi on April 17.
