Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived back here on Sunday night after his two-day, maiden tour to neighbouring Bangladesh.
He was welcomed by Foreign Minister Sushma Sawraj who presented him a flower bouquet.
Modi was given a hearty send-off while leaving from Dhaka with a wish to come back again.
"Abar ashibo phire dhanshiritir tire (I'll come back again to this country)," he recited the first line of a famous poem by Jibanananda Das in his public speech at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre from where he was driven straight to the airport.
Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina saw him off at the VVIP area and presented a bouquet just before he boarded the plane.
