Joel Joseph (Bangalore) and Rizwan Khan (Hunsur, Karnataka) scored a double each in the second round of the JK Tyre-FMSCI Indian NationalADrag Racing Championship at the Kari Motor Speedway here Sunday.
Joel, who had dominated the proceedings in the four-wheeler category on the rain-curtailed Saturday, winning both the races, continued his dominance Sunday, topping in both the Indian Open and the unrestricted classes for cars.
Driving a Honda City, the 30-year-old Joel timed 15.466s in the Indian Open class and followed it up with an even better timing of 15.381 in the unrestricted category.
He was obviously overjoyed with back-to-back double victories. "I just went out and gave it my best shot. Also, I clocked a much betterAtiming today," said the Bangalore driver.
Rizwan Khan on a Yamaha R1, meanwhile, proved his class in the two wheeler segment winning both the rounds of the unrestricted category in style.
