Expressing concern at the shortage of teachers in the country, members of parliament at a meetng here on Thursday said India needed six lakh teachers every year.
"We need six lakh teachers every year, in the next 20 years this number will be 20 times more so where are we heading to get the number filled," Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MP from Hisar Dushyant Chautala said.
