Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday met youth wing leaders of his party and directed them to fan out across the state to spread "good work" done by the Uttar Pradesh government.
In his interaction with the youth leaders, Yadav said the state government had fulfilled most of the promises made in the 2012 election manifesto.
"Go tell the well wishers of the party and the people of the welfare schemes run by the government and then nobody will be able to stop a repeat of this government," he said.
"You need to go through the grind and stay focussed on the supporters and their problems," the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister said.
