Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has reportedly told Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to take back in his cabinet his uncle Shivpal Yadav, informed sources said on Tuesday.
The Samajwadi patriarch has also directed his Chief Minister-son to also reinstate the three other ministers he had sacked along with Shivpal Yadav on Sunday.
Mulayam Singh is said to have told Akhilesh Yadav that putting up a united front was vital to win the assembly elections in the state due early next year.
The three other ministers who were sacked were Om Prakash Singh, Narad Rai and Shadab Fatima.
Mulayam Singh has also reportedly told Akhilesh Yadav to sack from his government Pawan Pandey, a legislator from Ayodhya who allegedly thrashed Shivpal supporter and MLC Ashu Malik on Monday.
Mulayam Singh is scheduled to address the media on Tuesday.
