Former Miss India-turned-actress Parvathy Omanakuttan, recently seen in horror flick "Pizza", says her debut film "Untitled 6" bombed at the box office as it was not promoted well.
"I did that film because I felt the story was good, but the film wasn't promoted well. If a film is not promoted well, it will not work," said Parvathy Omanakuttan.
"Everyone would expect to be launched by Yash Raj or Karan Johar or Sanjay Leela Bansali. But everyone is not that lucky," she said.
"I learnt a lot about acting through that film and only after that film I went to acting class," she added.
Parvathy's debut film "Untitled 6" was released in 2011 but went unnoticed.
The actress also said she is not fine doing item numbers.
She said: "I am not fine doing item numbers. I don't want to be categorized as an item girl which is very easy in the industry."
