Director Phani Prakash says that actor Allari Naresh's voiceover in his upcoming Telugu thriller comedy "Ali Baba Okkade Donga", slated for Jan 24 release, is one of the hihglights of the movie.
"It's a crime thriller and there are several important characters in the film. Naresh will introduce each of these characters in his trademark style with wit and sarcasm. His dialogues will bring the house down and we are confident about it," Prakash told IANS.
"Ali Baba Okkade Donga" marks the 50th film of comedian Ali in a lead role. In the past, films such as "Yamaleela", "Pittala Dora" and "Somberi" saw him in the lead roles.
Ali is instrumental in convincing Naresh for the voiceover.
"Both have worked together in several films," said Prakash and added that one phone call was all enough for Naresh to say "yes".
"He didn't even ask about the story and instantly agreed to do it for Ali," he added.
"Ali Baba Okkade Donga" also features Suja Varuni in an important role.
