Actress Nayanthara, who awaits the release of big-ticket films such as "Babu Bangaram" and "Iru Mugan", has started working on a yet-untitled Tamil film which will address problems associated with water scarcity.
"We are making this film with lot of social responsibility. It will create an impact in the minds of the audience because it's about water scarcity and it happens to be one of the major problems faced by people nowadays," film's director Gopi Nainar said in a statement.
In the film, Nayanthara will be seen as a district collector.
The film also stars child artists Vignesh and Ramesh, known for critically-acclaimed Tamil film "Kaaka Muttai". The movie has completed its first schedule.
