The premiere of the fifth season of American musical comedy-drama TV series "Glee" has been postponed following the recent death of the show's actor Cory Monteith.
Its new season was set to air Sep 18, but officials at Fox Broadcasting Company have pushed it to Sep 26. As a result, production on the fifth season of "Glee" will not begin until early August, reports eonline.com.
There are no further details as to how the show plans to handle the news of Monteith's demise in the new season.
Monteith died of an overdose from a mixture of heroin and alcohol July 13. He was found dead in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver.
