The NHAI approved three underpasses and a flyover for Gurgaon just hours after Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Rao Inderjeet Singh and Krishan Pal Gujjar announced development of basic amenities in the area, an official said here Saturday.
B.S. Singla, Chief General Manager of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) issued the approval letter.
The underpasses will be built at IFFCO Chowk, Rao Tula Ram Chowk and Rajiv Chowk by NHAI, but the cost will be borne by the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG).
A flyover will be built at Hero Honda Chowk by NHAI which will bear 75 percent of the cost while the rest will be paid by the Haryana government.
