Singer Nick Jonas says he would love to play the lead role in "James Bond" films, but thinks he's "too short and too American" to play the British spy.

"I'm a huge James Bond fan. I'm a bit of a Bond geek actually. I would love to play James Bond," dailystar.co.uk quoted Jonas as saying.

"It would be my career highlight but I'm not sure I really fit the character. I'm probably too short and too American. To be honest I'd just love any part in one of the films," the 22-year-old added.

Jonas further said he would like to provide the theme tune for one of the film's instalments.

He added: "To follow in the footsteps of people like Adele would be incredible."
