A 30-year-old woman from Nigeria jumped from the third floor of a building allegedly in an inebriated state in the early hours of Wednesday but escaped with only a leg fracture, Delhi Police said.
Police said Cope, who stays in Ward Number 8 in Mehrauli area of south Delhi, jumped from the third floor of another building around 4.30 a.m.
Cope was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre. She had barged into an adjoining apartment building near her residential premises after pushing away security guard Pramod around 3.45 a.m., Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Chinmoy Biswal said.
She later went to the third floor and jumped down, Biswal said.
