Nooran sisters -- Jyoti and Sultana -- known for singing the popular "Patakha guddi" song, have lent their voice to the title track of forthcoming TV show "Waaris".
To be aired on &TV channel, the family drama is set against the backdrop of Punjab. The title track named "Maaeri" is sung by the duo in both Hindi and Punjabi, read a statement.
Talking about the sisters, music director Saurav Kalsi said: "The girls are so talented that I never had to tell them anything. They are so down-to-earth and are such wonderful souls that it automatically translates into their voice."
"I had a great time while recording the song. It took us merely four hours to finish the song. I am sure the audience is going to love their voice."
The show will go on air from May 16.
