Intending to popularise khadi among the youth, the KVIC on Tuesday launched a new range of khadi denim products from jeans to jackets for both men and women.

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative to promote khadi in India, he urged youngsters to buy more khadi products.
"Khadi is the pride of India. People should step ahead and buy these products," he said.
"People buy so many varieties of clothes. So they should buy khadi too. This is what PM Modi wishes".
He said the government has improved in the field of khadi production and has already started mulling ways to expand it.
The collection of khadi, which has a smooth texture and is a little softer than regular denim, boasts of an array of jackets, jeans and shirts for men and women.
