Now 'Call the Expert' for dental solutions

If there's a dental problem that you have been ignoring for a while, expert help is just a phone call away, courtesy a toll free helpline launched by oral care brand Pepsodent.

The brand has announced the launch of its "Call the Expert" campaign, whereby callers have access to expert dental care solutions by simply dialling 1800-102-2221.

Experts will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week to advise and provide primary guidance on people's dental concerns.

In a research, Pepsodent found that many consumers had concerns or questions regarding oral health and hygiene, but were hesitant to go to dentists.

Statistical data indicates that less than 25 percent of the Indian population consults a dentist and there is low awareness of good oral hygiene practices, says Mumbai-based dentist Kamlesh Desai.

"The helpline will now be an easy option for them to get expert advice on good dental hygiene," he added

The launch of the campaign is part of Pepsodent's commitment towards improving the oral health of the country, said Atul Sinha, category head (Oral Care Business), Hindustan Unilever.
