Odisha, Delhi enter sub-jr national hockey final

Odisha beat Sports Authority of India (SAI) in the first semifinal of the Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship (Division B) while Delhi rained goals hosts Gujarat in the other semifinal to progress to the summit clash.

Odisha defeated SAI 1-0 in a closely contested match. While the first half did not yield any goals, in the second half Odhisha finally broke through the shackles as Pratap Lakra scored (42nd minute). The goal emerged the match winner helping Odisha to enter the final to be played Sunday.

In the second semifinal, Delhi declared an obvious win with an impressive 8-0 win. Delhi's Arun Kumar stroked in three back-to-back goals (22nd, 24th, 41st).

In the second half, Nitin Ram pierced in a field goal (43rd) followed by Kuldeep (48th) and Mukul Sharma (60th, 61st) with with Aman Minj (67th) scoring the last one.
